SARAH CLIFTON MAXWELL (abt 1826 – abt 1861) was born in Chester County, South Carolina the daughter of John D Maxwell and Susannah Clifton.
Sarah married Levi Weir in Chester County, in about 1854. They lived in Chester County where they had two children of record:
- Lenora Weir (15 Jan 1855 – 20 Aug 1887)
- Dixon Weir (3 Oct 1859 – Dec 1933)
Sarah died in 1861, and sometime after, Levi moved to Bradley County. He later married Martha J Knight in about 1873. They had three children of record.
Levi remained in Bradley County until his death on 29 Jul 1890 at age 59.
