George Samuel Reid Family Roots

NANCY EMELINE SHARP (1825 – 1863) was born in Abbeyville, South Carolina the daughter of Joseph R. Sharp and Elizabeth Shirley.

Nancy moved with her family to Floyd County, Georgia where she married Green Reginald Duke on 2 Sep 1847.

Nancy and Green lived in Floyd County where she had eight children of record until her untimely death in 1863 at age 39 following the birth of her daughter Emeline:

Nancy is buried in the New Armuchee Cemetery, Floyd County, Georgia.
