JULIA NETTIE CAMILLA REID (15 Oct 1874 – 5 Jan 1958) was born in Armuchee, Floyd County, Georgia the daughter of Marcus D Lafayette Reid and Nancy Elizabeth Duke.
Julia lived in Armuchee, Floyd County, Georgia with her family until about 1885 when they moved to Kaysville, Davis County, Utah.
On 15 Nov 1894 at age 20, Julia married Alfred Boswell Child in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.
Alfred and Julia lived in Weber County, Utah their entire married lives. They had four children of record:
- Addie P Child (1 Aug 1895 – 24 Mar 1907)
- Bertha Elizabeth Reid Child (20 Feb 1897 – 18 Aug 1935). Bertha married Joseph Ralph Welding Sill on 15 Aug 1916 in Layton, Davis, Utah.
- Alfred Lafayette Reid Child (1902 – 15 Apr 1968)
- Roy Child (1903 – 10 Sep 1968). Roy married Ellen Unknown about 1923.
Julia died at age 65 in Roy, Weber County, Utah. She is buried in the Ogden City Cemetery, Ogden, Weber, Utah.
