LUCY GIBBONS (1830 – 30 Apr 1877) was born in Newent, Gloucesetershire, England the daughter of Samuel Gibbons and Sarah Holland.
Lucy married John Hill 20 Dec 1852 in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England. Lucy and John had 3 children of record:
- Louisa Jane Hill (1853 – 1908)
- William John Hill (1854 – 1940)
- Joseph Hill (1857 – 1857)
Lucy and John lived in England until John’s death on 6 Oct 1867 at age 42. After John’s death, Lucy came to Utah to join her daughter Louisa Jane Hill (Holt) under circumstances unknown.
Lucy died 30 Apr 1877 at age 47 in Bountiful, Davis County, Utah.
